External Gear Pumps

Eaton began manufacturing gear pumps and motors for the growing aerospace industry in the 1960s. Today, these products are delivered to customers worldwide for a broad range of mobile and industrial applications that need higher pressure, quiet operation, long life, and a full range of options and features. 

Eaton external gear pumps are available in a wide range of standard configurations, including many with integrated valves and controls. Multi-pump combinations and special designs are also available to fit application needs. 

Their combination of efficiency and economy make Eaton external gear pumps the first choice of many customers in the construction, agriculture, material handling, aerial lift, turf care, utility, forestry, mining, earthmoving, molding, primary metal, automotive manufacturing, entertainment, and machine tool industries. They are also widely used in mobile fan drive systems.

Eaton S26 and L2 pumps use a die-cast aluminum housing, end cover and flange to house pressure balanced, fixed bushing internals to produce a compact, rigid structure that is able to incorporate multiple functions.

Vickers PVM, PVH, PVE, and PVB series pumps are time-proven designs used in automotive, agricultural, and construction equipment applications worldwide. 

Eaton medium duty pressure/flow compensated MD PFC pumps are built on designs from Cessna. These also have a long history of performance and reliability. 

The new 420 and 620 pumps in the X20 Series offer greater power density and higher operating pressures in a smaller, lighter package. 

All of Eaton’s mobile open circuit piston can be easily customized to a wide variety of application needs.

420 Series: Eaton 420 Series pumps deliver high pressure in a small package to maximize power density. They are ideal solutions for constrained space applications. Eaton 420 Series pumps are available with displacements ranging from 41to 80 cc (2.5 to 4.88 in3) at operating pressures up to 280 bar (4000 psi). Eaton 410 pumps configurations are available to fit popular transmission and PTO packages, including torque control.

620 Series: Eaton 620 Series pumps deliver high pressure in a small package to maximize power density. They are ideal solutions for constrained space applications. Eaton 620 Series pumps are currently available with a 98 cc (5.98 in3) displacement for operating pressures up to 280 bar (4,000 psi) and input speeds to 2,220 rpm. Versions with 65, 74, and 120 cc (4.0, 4.51 and 7.32 in3) displacements are planned.

Piston Open Circuit-Industrial

Eaton open circuit piston pumps provide the performance and flexibility required to drive a broad range of medium-duty industrial fluid power systems. These pumps are widely used on machine tools, molding machines, manufacturing equipment, power generation equipment, port machinery, and in the oil and gas, civil engineering, and entertainment industries.

Eaton DuraForce™ axial piston pumps are available with displacements from 55 to 280 cc (3.57 to 17.1 in3) at operating pressures up to 280 bar (4060 psi). They are designed to deliver high efficiency, precision control and durability assuring years of highly productive, cost-effective, reliable service.

These compact, versatile PVB Series pumps are available with displacements from 10 to 94 cc (0.6 to 5.74 in3) with operating pressures up to 210 bar (3045 psi).

​

PVH series pumps are available with displacements from 57 to 141cc (3.48 to 8.67 in3) at operating pressures up to 250 bar (3625 psi). These pumps have the widest range of control options, including torque limiting.

Vickers® Hydrokraft™ PVW & PFW Fixed & Variable Open Circuit Piston Pumps

PVW pumps are available with displacements from 130cc to 750cc (7.93 to 44.55 in3) at operating pressures up to 350 bar (5075 psi).

Vickers® Hydrokraft™ PVX & PFX Fixed & Variable Open Circuit Piston Pumps

PVX pumps are available with displacements from 66 to 250cc (4.03 to 15.26 in3) at operating pressures up to 350 bar (5075 psi).

Vickers® M series Variable Displacement Open Circuit Piston pumps

PVM series pumps have the widest displacement range, 18 to 141 cc (1.1 to 8.6 in3), at operating pressures up to 280 bar (4061 psi). The design incorporates advanced features that reduce noise levels by more than 50%.

Vickers® Q Series Industrial Variable Displacement Open Circuit Piston Pumps

The quiet, versatile PVQ series offers displacements from 10 to 45cc (0.6 to 2.75 in3) at operating pressures up to 210 bar (3045 psi).

Eaton Hydrokraft axial piston pumps use a cradle-type swash plate design that provides reliable operation and long life in high-pressure, closed-circuit industrial applications. 

Piston Closed Circuit-Industrial

Eaton Hydrokraft axial piston pumps use a highly-reliable cradle-type swash plate design to optimize performance while providing extended service life. Their through-drive design facilitates multi-pump installations on a single shaft, either field installed or as a factory option. Eaton Hydrokraft pumps are intended for closed circuit applications with integrated valves and filters. Complete closed circuit systems are available as a package. 

Typical applications include machine tools, molding machines, manufacturing equipment, power generation equipment, port machinery and systems used by the oil and gas, civil engineering, and entertainment industries.

Vickers® Hydrokraft™ TVW Variable Closed Circuit Piston Pumps

TVW pumps are available with displacements from 130cc to 750cc (7.93 to 44.55 in3) at operating pressures up to 350 bar (5075 psi).

Vickers® Hydrokraft™ TVX Variable Closed Circuit Piston Pumps

TVX pumps are available with displacements from 66 to 90cc (4.03 to 5.50 in3) at operating pressures up to 350 bar (5075 psi).

Eaton mobile closed circuit piston pumps are designed for use in vehicles using mid-range pump/motor hydraulic systems operating at pressures up to 380 bar (5500 psi). 

Piston Closed Circuit-Mobile

Eaton mobile closed circuit piston pumps are designed for use in vehicles using mid-range pump/motor hydraulic systems operating at pressures up to 380 bar (5500 psi) powered by engines of less than 63.4 kW (86 hp). Eaton’s Series 1, Series 2 and bent-axis core products are supplemented with new pump-mounted electronic controls that range from a simple electronic proportional (EP) displacement control to sophisticated multiplex control with CAN communications for displacement and pressure control. 

In addition, Eaton’s Model 72400 and 350 pumps are available with a full range of electrohydraulic enabled controls including electro-proportional, solenoid control with feedback, and hydraulic remote control. 

Closed circuit pumps are commonly used on agricultural, construction, earthmoving, forestry, mining, material handling, and turf equipment as well as in the truck and bus and utility industries.
